Hunt Spring/Fall Black Bear (also color-phases
cinnamon and blond), Moose, Whitetail Deer and
Waterfowl out of the Interlake region of Manitoba,
Canada. This resort specializes in bow/rifle trophy
hunts.
The owner's love of the 'bush' has enabled him to
harvest many big game animals which include Pope &
Young (P&Y) deer, bear, elk and three bull moose.
This resort is a North American Hunting Club (NAHC)
approved outfitter and also has been selected as one
of the outfitters in 'Top Guide' publications and
takes great pride in having accomplished that
status. The Outfitter's guides, the grassroots of
the operation and lifetime residents of the area,
share the love of the 'bush' and responsibility to
the honest effort required to provide a quality
hunt.
The huge exclusive hunting area consists of large wet
marshes, rolling ridges of thick aspen and pine forest
with heavy hazel and willow underbrush, nutritious
clovers, pea vetch, swamp cabbage and natural salt
licks. With this type of clover and food supply the area
sustains a wide variety of wildlife.
The Interlake has produced huge whitetails that go
197-7/8 typical, non-typical in the high 250's, black
bear with 22" skulls, and moose in the 210-215 class. It
has also put out some outstanding archery whitetails
with the top typical going 181-6/8 and non-typical
177-6/8.
The Interlake has moderate hunting pressure (for
Canada), along with few accessible roads and excellent
habitat leaving it the prime hot spot to harvest a
TROPHY of a lifetime. Western Canada is known for the
size of the whitetail deer.
