The present owners
traveled
all over the
north and
looked
at a lot of lodges
before they came
across this lodge.
One of the things that made it so attractive to them was it's close proximity to Thompson, Manitoba which enables them to keep expenses down and pass on the savings to their guests.
This lodge is a small Mom and Pop type lodge, not a large commercialized resort. The lodge accommodates 16 people per week so more of the owner's time can be spent to make the guest's stay at the lodge as enjoyable as possible.
Situated close to Thompson, yet very remote. The lake and river system is so large the system offers endless sites for good fishing with some of the best wildlife viewing as an added bonus.
The walleye in this system are so abundant it is almost impossible not to catch them. Northern Pike are so plentiful, that is some places you can catch them every cast for hours on end...there is always the opportunity for a trophy catch of either species.
