The Resort

Legendary Canadian sports fishing resort situated on a large lake with a productive trophy fishery. Guests can relax in the unique dining room and lounge, where there are several 60' Norway pines growing through the floor and on up through the ceiling!

Location

This exceptional Drive-In resort property is spread over 15 deeded acres at the tip of a peninsula with over one half mile of shoreline overlooking a pristine bay in NW Ontario.

Situated here are 16 one to four bedroom private cabins all having panoramic views of the lake ideally situated to  offer complete privacy yet close enough to access all resort facilities on foot.

The cabins are exceptionally well maintained, clean, and fully furnished including a small refrigerator, coffeemaker with, clock radio and satellite television. All cabins give you a beautiful view of the lake and range in size from one bedroom to five bedrooms.

For guests convenience  laundry facility is conveniently located on the premises. Each cabin has full baths with tubs and showers. Three & four bedroom cabins have two baths. All cabins are air-conditioned and each room has individually controlled electric heat. The cabins are rustic yet modern offering all the comforts of home.
     

The Fishing

No matter what kind of fishing action guests of the lodge are looking for this is the place for them to find it. The lake is a tremendous natural freshwater fishery, containing walleye, northern pike, lake trout, Muskie, large & small mouth bass, crappie, and jumbo perch.

 
     
The lodge has, and continues to support being good stewards of the natural resources. A majority of the trophy fish caught here are returned to the lake for the fishing pleasure of another guest. The lodge will take a photo of the big catch and assist the guests in having a replica made for a lifetime of memories.
     

Local Attributes

If the guests wish to hang back from the quality trophy fishing trips they can relax at the resort where they are sure to find a spot on the beach or another activity to enjoy. 

 
     
Tennis Courts   Guests of the lodge can go for a walk and catch a glimpse of the local wildlife, play a game of tennis, go kayaking, take a swim, play a round of mini-golf, take a short drive to the 9-hole municipal golf-course for a unique wilderness golfing experience, or visit the unique gift shops in the nearby town. This area has something to offer everyone.
     

Boats - "Top of the Line"

The lodge utilizes 18 ft. Lund Alaskan fishing boats. Guests are very impressed with the comfort and roominess. Boats are equipped with a 60 HP motor, 6 HP trolling motor, padded pedestal swivel seats and back rests with live well.

 
     
  The flat floor enables you to stand or walk around easily and the 18 ft. length gives a smooth ride. You are close to the water, so you can cast with ease and have excellent control over your fishing line.
     
Fishing 2 or 3 guests per boat is ideal and most popular. Lodge also offers for exclusive use of the guests a 20 ft. Lund Cruiser equipped with a four-stroke Mercury 115 HP motor, 8 HP trolling motor, full windshield, VHF radio, depth finder, convertible tops and pedestal swivel seats with back rests, ideal for those who like a slightly faster ride.
