THE RESORT:

This Canadian fly-in fishing resort has quality cabins which are nicely spaced for privacy along the naturally sandy beach. Four cabins, each sleep 4-8 people. Many of the lodge guests opt for the American Plan fishing package, eating breakfast and dinner in the brand new lodge dining room constructed in 2005 with fabulous unobstructed views of the lake, . If the lodge guests wish to do their own cooking during their stay, each of the remote resort cabins has complete cooking and eating facilities. The present owners have done a fabulous job (no expenses spared) on both the construction of the new lodge dining room and promotion of this exceptional turn-key fly-in resort. The owners have up to 370 guests booked for the 2005 season.

Each of the lakeside cabins at the Lodge has it's own private bath, kitchen facilities, deck overlooking the lake, barbeque grill, and picnic table. Inside, the guests will find washrooms with hot and cold running water, showers and flush toilets. An electric refrigerator and gas range are available for those guests on the housekeeping plan. The diesel generator allows the guests to feel right at home, supplying power to the cabins 24 hours a day.

THE LOCATION:

THE FISHING:

This Lake provides excellent fishing opportunities for the avid angler. Walleye is considered by most fishermen to be the best tasting of all freshwater fish... And this lake provides all the walleyes you can possibly consume. No live bait needed. Walleyes gather on the many reefs of the Lake throughout the season. In the spring, the guests will be amazed as they pluck walleye after walleye from 2 or 3 feet of water. Invariably the guests end up casting for the "monster northern pike". These pike are usually found in less than 15 feet of water, along weed beds and in weedy bays.

THE LAKE:

Huge volumes of fresh water turn over daily making this one of the best systems for Canadian walleye and northern pike fishing. An endless variety of structure provides habitat and forage for the resort guests quality fishing experience. The lake is 50' deep, and is fed by the cold Canadian waters of a number of rivers. Though the Lake is 35 miles long, the guests are usually fishing within 10 miles of the lodge. There's no need to go any further for fantastic Canadian fishing for walleye and pike!
