The lodge is located on an island approximately 120 miles North of a main centre in Saskatchewan. The camp has a southern exposure to the warm summer sun and a sandy beach. The lake is cool, clear, and deep with many islands and bays, with some spots up to 130 feet deep. Lake Trout weighing 30 plus pounds can be caught. The quiet bays are home for large Northern Pike up to 50 inches in length and weights of 30 pounds. The lake has many bays and shorelines which protect guests from any wind or weather. There are no long boat rides, as fishing starts immediately upon leaving the dock.

A fifteen minute hike through the portage to the outpost lake is very scenic and easy. This lake is a similar size to the main lake and has many bays and long inlets that host huge Northern Pike, reefs and deep pools for Lakers along with selected areas for Walleye. The lake is surrounded by tall white spruce, where wildlife are abundant; guests of the lodge can watch for caribou, moose, or bear on the shoreline as they fish. Guests can also explore an old trappers cabin, where you can only imagine the long, cold winter months spent trapping and raising a family. This lake is a day-use lake only with no accommodations.

The main lodge and cabins are connected with a treated wood boardwalk that makes easy navigating to the lodge. Good sturdy dock with boat ramps. Water from the lake is pumped into a water tower above the main lodge and has gravity feed water at 40-50lbs psi 24/7. Sewer flows to a holding tank and is automatically pumped to a lagoon off site. Dept of Health has inspected the camp every year and it has passed with honors.

Two log cabins were built in June 2004 with private bathrooms - complete with hot showers and flush toilets. Each cabin has a bedroom with two twins and can sleep three in the main area. A wood heater and a bar fridge complete the inside, while a large deck for viewing the lake, accent the outside. Guests find them very comfortable and cozy.
