This lodge is the only camp on the lake. A short float plane trip and guests will arrive at the lodge which offers some of Saskatchewan's finest Fishing! Huge Lake Trout and monster Northern Pike are the catch of the day! Located on a 25 acre island this lodge has everything you need to own and operate the lodge.
The main lodge features a full kitchen with custom hickory cabinets, dining room that seats 12 and a cozy lounge area with leather sofas and chairs.
This is a turn-key operation that includes everything necessary to operate the lodge on a commercial or private basis. The camp is fully licensed for outfitting including unlimited non-resident bear hunts and 2 moose tags when available.
Attached screened in gazebo make a great outside dining area. 2 sleeping cabins were built in 2004 and sleep five each with a 3pc bath and airtight wood heaters. Owners cabin has a 3pc bath and wood heater plus tent accommodations for staff as well.
The lodge is located on an island approximately 120 miles North of a main centre in Saskatchewan. The camp has a southern exposure to the warm summer sun and a sandy beach. The lake is cool, clear, and deep with many islands and bays, with some spots up to 130 feet deep. Lake Trout weighing 30 plus pounds can be caught.The quiet bays are home for large Northern Pike up to 50 inches in length and weights of 30 pounds. The lake has many bays and shorelines which protect guests from any wind or weather. There are no long boat rides, as fishing starts immediately upon leaving the dock.
A fifteen minute hike through the portage to the outpost lake is very scenic and easy. This lake is a similar size to the main lake and has many bays and long inlets that host huge Northern Pike, reefs and deep pools for Lakers along with selected areas for Walleye.The lake is surrounded by tall white spruce, where wildlife are abundant; guests of the lodge can watch for caribou, moose, or bear on the shoreline as they fish. Guests can also explore an old trappers cabin, where you can only imagine the long, cold winter months spent trapping and raising a family. This lake is a day-use lake only with no accommodations.
The main lodge and cabins are connected with a treated wood boardwalk that makes easy navigating to the lodge. Good sturdy dock with boat ramps. Water from the lake is pumped into a water tower above the main lodge and has gravity feed water at 40-50lbs psi 24/7. Sewer flows to a holding tank and is automatically pumped to a lagoon off site. Dept of Health has inspected the camp every year and it has passed with honors.
Two log cabins were built in June 2004 with private bathrooms - complete with hot showers and flush toilets. Each cabin has a bedroom with two twins and can sleep three in the main area. A wood heater and a bar fridge complete the inside, while a large deck for viewing the lake, accent the outside. Guests find them very comfortable and cozy.
The outfitters license comes with fishing and hunting rights to two lakes. This lodge is the only outfitter on these lakes. Access to unlimited non-resident Black Bear tags and when available 2 Moose tags. The lodge has no bed capacity restriction. No restriction on hunters.
Lake Trout and Pike are the main fish on these lakes. Trout over 20lbs are common and some over 30lbs are caught each year,40 Pike are easily caught most days. The boats and motors on the outcamp lake are accessed by a short portage from the north end of the main lake. Scenery is spectacular and Walleye fishing is great.Trout and Pike are large and abundant. It is a beautiful lake that has limited fishing pressure.
